Ciao bella - An ineffective pickup line

Ciao from Roma!

I would never venture to pass myself off as Italian, but I'm getting pretty good at using that map of the city and finding places, such as...

The Trevi Fountain,

where I, of course, threw a coin in and made a wish.
We also got to go to

the Coliseum, where, like in most of Rome, there are SO many ruins everywhere that

they don't even care if you touch them. Or lean against them, for that matter.
Also, there are a lot of lions. Not real lions. Statues of lions, lion heads, lions with wings.

And these lion door handles inside a museum. Do you think its an entrance to Narnia? Man, we should have gone through.
So, as you can see, Roma e bellissima, and I can't wait to see Salerno, on the coast, where the sun is always shining and the tortellini are always made by someone's grandmother. That's the word in the piazza anyway. Ciao!

ROMANIA! BRASOV-(Probably the best city in the world)

Hey (Y'ALL) from ROMANIA!

Oh Yeah BABYY!

Part of the "Center" or the end of Republicii

Brasov, probably the best city in the world. Probably.

Where the cool college kids eat. They put french fries in their wraps here.

This used to say "STALIN." It can be seen from just about anywhere in Brasov.

The view outside my kitchen window. This picture doesn't do it justice, especially at sunrise or sunset.

So, I wish I had more time to post but I figure every drop counts, right? So here is a picture of us on top of "Magura" (which is actually an inactive volcano!) at the end of a day long hike. This was no menial task, let me assure you! I was being sanctified on that hike because the good Lord knows I'm not a hiker much less in shape for this kind of workout! But hallelujah for getting to the top!

wish you were here...

First week away and we already miss yall...

obviously.

I can't believe we are already scattered across the world! Anna is first to go…at this very moment it is 4:58pm in Romania. I wonder what she's up to!

Katherine, Julie and I came down to Orange Beach for a few days... here are some pictures to summarize the last three days:

This, my friends, is All Natural Kettle Popped Gourmet Cinnamon Sugar Kettle Corn. Is your mouth watering already? Julie and I popped this open on the way to the beach and were done with more than half by the time we got here. Wondering when you can try some? Don’t worry. We’ve already called the Wal-Mart in Oxford and they do, in fact, sell this lovely treat! Get excited. It will be stocked in our cabinets all year next year!

While at the beach, we all decided to get floppy hats....

...we liked them a little too much.

During day two I (Lacey) got sick.

but bounced back within 12 hours...

Our last night we went to eat at Lousiana Lagniappe, where we demolished bread pudding and chocolate mousse

If we look a little swollen this is why.

andddddddd not pictured:

-Katherine called a man mam (so sad we dont have a picture of that one)

-Julie ate three packets of butter... plain.

-Julie called the police due to "suspicious activity" on the beach. She's a hero.

So yes, it was a fun few days BUT not the same without yall! Hope you are having an incredible first few days of summer. Can't wait to read all about it!
